Located on a pristine and secluded stretch of Vung Bau Bay on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam, Bamboo Cottages offers a unique Vietnamese family experience. Situated on the northwest shore of the island, our resort is designed for travelers who are looking for a simple, back-to-nature experience in a beautiful setting.

Our Family

Bamboo Cottages is a family-run business. We started with the vision to create a place where guests can reconnect with nature and enjoy genuine Vietnamese hospitality. Our family has been in the hospitality business for over 20 years, and we take pride in offering personalized service to every guest.

We think that future visitors should be able to enjoy the rather unspoilt landscape for generations to come, and therefore we strive to apply intelligent environmental practices and minimize our use of natural resources.

We are 100% solar powered. This has the unfortunate side effect that we cannot run air-conditioners. Other minor drawbacks include occasional power outages during extended periods of cloudy weather.

We also strive to minimize our impact on the local environment through various initiatives:

Our Staff

Our staff is comprised mostly of local Vietnamese people from Phu Quoc and the mainland. We believe in empowering our community by providing employment opportunities and training. Many of our staff have been with us since we opened, and they contribute significantly to the warm, welcoming atmosphere at Bamboo Cottages.
